He was ordained as a priest in the Latin Patriarchate of Jerusalem.
He completed his doctoral thesis in Paris.

Appointed Director of the National Secondary School in Amman.
Appointed President of Bethlehem University.
Appointed Latin Patriarch of Jerusalem by the Vatican.
Served as Chair of the Catholic Family in the Middle East Council of Churches.

Holds leadership and membership positions in numerous national and international religious, charitable, and educational organizations.
