Born: 1945 in Fes, Morocco.
Graduated from the Higher School of Teachers and the Faculty of Arts and Humanities in 1966.
Became a member of the Executive Committee of the Independence Party in 1998 and again in 2002.
Worked in the Executive Office of the Moroccan Association for Supporting the Struggle of the Palestinian People since 1978, and was elected its President in 2002.
He was elected General Secretary of the General Union of Moroccan Workers at the extraordinary conference held in Casablanca on January 24, 2006.
Joined the Executive Office of the International Trade Union Organization in October 2006.
