The Yasser Arafat Foundation released today, Tuesday, 24 August 2026, the milestone 40th issue (Summer 2026) of its quarterly intellectual magazine, "Awraq Filistinia", via its digital platform. The issue's editorial, penned by the Foundation's management under the title "Unity in the Face of Division and Occupation," emphasized that Palestinians are confronting an existential juncture where victory is the only option. It stressed that internal disputes, regardless of their legitimacy, must be set aside, as all energy must be channeled into resisting the occupation and colonial settlement expansion, while ensuring the State of Palestine remains at the forefront of the global agenda. The editorial urged the rejection of divisive rhetoric, calling on everyone to grasp the gravity of this historical moment and provide all necessary means to sustain steadfastness and break the occupation’s aggression.

In this issue of "Awraq Filistinia", Abdel Ghani Salameh authored a piece on the “US Midterm Elections,” while Shatha Yahya examined “Trump’s Council of Promises and Europe’s Gaza Team: A Western Bridge to a New Middle East.” Khalil Tufakji contributed an analysis on “Settlement Expansion in Jerusalem in Light of the Genocidal War in Gaza and the West Bank,” and Qaddoura Fares provided an in-depth feature titled “Israeli Occupation Prisons: The Crime of the Century.” On the same topic, Mohamed Hosni wrote about “Ben-Gvir’s Law for the Execution of Prisoners.” In a dedicated segment focusing on “Israel on the Eve of the October 2026 Elections,” Dr. Khaled Said analyzed “The Political Landscape in Israel,” while Olayan Al-Hindi explored the concept of “Greater Israel vs. Palestine and Jordan.”
