On August 20, 2024, Dr. Odeh Masharqa, General Director of the Yasser Arafat Foundation, met with a delegation from the Palestinian Police’s Public Relations and Media Department. The delegation included Brigadier General Abu Zunaid Abu Zunaid, Brigadier General Ashraf Matalq, Colonel Luay Arzeqat, and Officer Arsan Ishtiyeh.

The discussion focused on enhancing cooperation to strengthen social and community ties and promote national awareness. Masharqa highlighted the importance of this collaboration in advancing Palestinian identity and preserving the legacy of Yasser Arafat and the national movement.

Brigadier General Abu Zunaid affirmed the police’s readiness to work with the foundation on programs that benefit the nation amid ongoing challenges and the occupation's ongoing aggression against our people.
