On May 15, 2025, Dr. Ahmad Soboh, Chairman of the Yasser Arafat Foundation, welcomed a delegation of professionals with disabilities led by Bayan Tabeeb, member of Fatah’s Revolutionary Council, at the Foundation’s headquarters in Ramallah.

Dr. Soboh reviewed the Foundation’s mission to preserve Yasser Arafat’s legacy and Palestinian national history, highlighting the Yasser Arafat Museum and Mausoleum as key initiatives.

He noted that the museum, accessible in eight languages, offers valuable insight into Palestinian heritage for both local and international visitors. Tabeeb emphasized Arafat’s symbolic role for Palestinians and expressed the delegation’s commitment to supporting persons with disabilities.

Both parties affirmed the importance of enhancing cooperation to empower people with disabilities, protect national identity, and raise societal awareness of their rights and contributions.

The meeting concluded with discussions on collaborative efforts, and the delegation included representatives from disability organizations and advocacy groups across Ramallah and the Jalazone Refugee Camp.
