The Yasser Arafat Foundation issued the thirty-third issue (Fall 2023) of its quarterly magazine, “Awraq Filistinia.”
The editorial of the issue was entitled “One People Confronting the Occupation,” highlighting the genocide that the Palestinian Arab people have been subjected to since October 7, 2023.
In the Palestinian file, “United in Confrontation,” Abdel-Ghani Salama wrote the title International Dimensions of the Aggressive War on Gaza, and the Flood of War and Media by Imad Al-Asfar, and Shatha Yahya wrote The Struggle with Judicial Amendments, Rebuilding the Wall of Zion’s Democracy or the End of the Third Temple, and the title The Israeli Occupying State - To Where by Alian Al-Hindi, Badia Zidane has the title Innovators, Martyrs in the Gaza War, and Youssef Al-Shayeb wrote about Gaza through Western cinematic eyes that broke the siege.
In the Arabic papers section, Radwa Abdel Qader wrote, The History of the Arab League and Palestine, and Dr. Naglaa Makkawi wrote about Egypt and the PLO.
In the memory papers section, the title of the General Union of Palestine Students...Amania, the First European Branch, was by Hossam Abu Al-Nasr, “Fatah from the Venice to the Basement” by Maryam Yasser, and the title of “Revolutionary National Thought in Practice” by Muhammad Al-Buraim.
In the cultural papers section, the beginning of the chapter was the image of prison in the Palestinian autobiography of Ahmed Aziz, Abdel Qader Yassin had the title The Intellectuals, Pioneers of the Palestinian Revolution, Jamal Al-Husseini’s novel Palestine the Civil and the City by Firas Ubaid, and Saad Al-Qarsh wrote the works of Naguib Mahfouz in cinema.
In the section of books and reports, Amani Hamouda wrote, “Mahmoud Darwish Conference: A Narrative of the Past and the Present.”
The issue concluded with the Foundation's papers, which included a headline about the 19th anniversary of the martyrdom of the founding president.
