On, Sunday, 6/25/2023, the Yasser Arafat Foundation hosted a training session for trainers of the Yasser Arafat summer camps 2023, at the foundation's offices in Ramallah, in preparation for the camps' inauguration on July 5, which will run for two weeks.

During the meeting with representatives and trainers from the partner institutions, Dr. Ahmed Soboh, General Director of the Yasser Arafat Foundation, stated that the Foundation continues to organize projects and programs that serve the Palestinian community as a whole, particularly the Yasser Arafat camps, because of their national goals of educating young people and children on the history and legacy of Yasser Arafat and promoting Palestinian national culture.

Dr. Soboh praised the ongoing collaboration with partner institutions to strengthen Palestinian youth and children's national identity and knowledge, establish Palestinian history in the minds of new generations born after Yasser Arafat's martyrdom, and unify the national language among children.

This training is part of an exchange of knowledge and skills on how to engage with youngsters attending the summer camps, as well as how to offer facts about the founding leader and the Palestinian cause via games and other means. Mahar Abu Ein, the Foundation's Programs Coordinator, Nayef Shtayyeh, the Foundation's Summer Camps Coordinator, and officials from the Foundation's partner institutions attended the seminar.

This year's partners are Salfit Development Associatio in Salfit Governorate, Ein Arik Women Association in Ramallah Governorate, Lajee Center in Aida Camp in Bethlehem Governorate, Habla Charity Association in Qalqilya Governorate, and Hebron Society Development and Empowerment Charity (HSDEC) in Jericho. The camps will be run by Al- Biet Alssamed Foundation and the Right to Live Society in Gaza in the southern governorates.

The Foundation also supports three additional organizations that run summer camps in Yasser Arafat's name.
