Foundation member, Dr. Ola Awad chaired today the 23rd of August 2022, the first annual meeting for the Yasser Arafat Awards Committee for Achievement in order to review the nominations which were submitted to the Foundation. Dr. Ahmad Soboh and all Board members attended the meeting.

To this end, the committee will hold a series of meetings and will conclude its work after going through the entire nominations and after selecting the winning candidate on the basis of predetermined criteria. 

The award winner will be announced at the Ramallah Cultural Palace on the 10th  of November 2022 which marks the 18th memorial anniversary for the martyrdom of the late president, Yasser Arafat.
