Dr. Mamdouh Al-Abadi is granted the President Mahmoud Abbas Award for Academic Diplomacy Advocating Palestinian Rights

Al-Quds Open University and the International Academic Campaign against the Israeli Occupation and Apartheid, in cooperation with the Colonization and Wall Resistance Commission, honored Dr. Mamdouh Al-Abadi, Chairman of the Board of Trustees of the Yasser Arafat Foundation. 


Al-Abadi was granted the President Mahmoud Abbas Award for supporting academic diplomacy and Palestinian rights, and Dr. Ahmed Sobh, General Director of the Foundation, received it on his behalf.


This came during the proceedings of the International Scientific Conference entitled "Self-Liberation of the Palestinians...Producing Resistance Knowledge" in the West Bank and Gaza Strip simultaneously, which was under the auspices of President Mahmoud Abbas, President of the State of Palestine on Monday, November 29, 2021.


The work of the conference focused on ways to enhance cooperation between the popular resistance and the International Solidarity Committees to develop the popular resistance in all locations.


Arab and foreign academics who support the Palestinian cause were honored with the President Mahmoud Abbas Award for their efforts in academic diplomacy that supports Palestinian rights.
