At the invitation of the Embassy of the State of Palestine and in coordination with the Venezuelan Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Director General of Yasser Arafat Foundation Dr. Ahmad Soboh visited Venezuela from the 14th through the 19th of November 2016.
Dr. Soboh participated in the celebrations of their Independence Day and gave a speech on this occasion.  He also visited the statue of Yasser Arafat and laid wreaths along with the staff of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Embassy of Palestine, Palestinian Ambassador, Palestinian residents and students in Caracas. 
During his visit, Dr. Soboh met with Deputy Foreign Minister of Venezuela and his staff to visit the Mausoleum of Simón Bolívar and Hugo Chávez and his Museum.  
In addition, Dr. Soboh had a long meeting with the Foundation of the Venezuelan late President Hugo Chávez and discussed ways to build means of cooperation with Yasser Arafat Foundation. 
In a lecture at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Dr. Soboh gave a detailed explanation about the Yasser Arafat Foundation and the newly established Museum.
