Cairo - During their meeting last Thursday on the 10th of March 2016, Arab Foreign Ministers selected Ahmed Aboul Gheit, Egypt’s former Foreign Minister and member of the Board of Trustees of Yasser Arafat Foundation (YAF), as the Secretary-General of the Arab League. 

Ahmed Aboul Gheit succeeded Dr. Nabil Al-Araby, member of the Board of Trustees of YAF and a former member of the Board of Directors of the foundation,after he said that he would not seek a second term.
