The Yasser Arafat Foundation's Board of Directors met for the 56th time, on Monday, October 2, 2023, in Amman, Jordan, with Dr. Mamdouh Al-Abadi, Chairman of the Foundation's Board of Trustees, in attendance.

A minute of silence was observed at the start of the meeting, and Al-Fatiha was recited on the soul of founding President Yasser Arafat, as well as the souls of the martyrs in the Gaza Strip and the West Bank, as well as saluting the valiant prisoners.

The Board authorized a program to commemorate the 19th anniversary of Yasser Arafat's martyrdom and approved the Yasser Arafat Achievement Award Committee's activities for 2023. The Board also evaluated the Foundation's progress and approved the management report for 2024, and various institution-related issues, including the upcoming Board of Trustees meeting next year.
