On Thursday, 7/28/2022, the Yasser Arafat Foundation finished its two-week summer camps, which it arranged with partner institutions in various places around the northern and southern governorates.
This year, 400 young children aged 8 to 13 attended Yasser Arafat's camps in six locations.
The camp's goal is to revive the late President Yasser Arafat's history and legacy, create a national culture, boost the spirit of positivity in Palestinian society, and inculcate national ideals in the participating youngsters.
This year's summer camps featured a range of extracurricular activities as well as the utilization of modern methods and tools to impart knowledge to children, such as acting, folklore singing, creative writing and storytelling, and a visit to the Yasser Arafat Museum, among other things.
The Yasser Arafat Foundation implemented the camps program this year in cooperation with five institutions in different locations in the West Bank and the Gaza Strip: the Cultural Center for Child Development / Tulkarm, Al-Janiya Village Council / Ramallah, Yafa Cultural Center / Balata Camp, Not to Forget Association / Jenin Camp, Refugee Center / Bethlehem, Al Bait Assamed Association / Gaza.
