Dr. Nasser Alkidwa, Chairman of the Board of Directors of Yasser Arafat Foundation, received the President of the Republic of Chile Sebastián Piñera and First Lady Cecilia Morel at Yasser Arafat Museum on Thursday, the 27th of June 2019. 

Accompanied by Palestinian Minister of Foreign Affairs and Expatriates Dr. Riad Malki, President Piñera laid a wreath at the mausoleum of Yasser Arafat.  Dr. Alkidwa then led the Chilean delegation on a tour of the Museum’s exhibits, which present the narrative of the Palestinian contemporary national movement through the life and journey of the late President Arafat.
Following his tour, President Piñera wrote in the Museum’s guest book:  “A Museum that preserves the history of Yasser Arafat and is worth the visit.  I hope peace will prevail in the region.”
