Dr. Nasser Alkidwa, Chairman of the Board of Directors, and Dr. Ahmad Soboh, Director General of the Foundation, were invited by Nelson Mandela Foundation to the Republic of South Africa on a working visit.
On the 27th of November 2018, the delegation met in Johannesburg with Mr. Sello Hatang, Chief Executive of Nelson Mandela Foundation, and H.E. Mr. Hashem Dajani, Ambassador of Palestine to South Africa, to address prospects for cooperation and exchange of expertise to strengthen relations between the two institutions.
The following day, Dr. Alkidwa and Dr. Soboh met with the leadership of South African Communist Party (SACP) and the African National Congress (ANC) Ruling Party.
The delegation is also participating in events in a number of cities throughout South Africa, including commemorations of the International Day of Solidarity with the Palestinian People, Proclamation of the Palestinian Declaration of Independence, and the commemoration of the 14th anniversary of the passing of the late President Yasser Arafat.
