The Board of Directors of Yasser Arafat Foundation held its 41st meeting on the 27th of September 2018 in Amman, Jordan. The meeting was convened by Dr. Nasser Alkidwa, Chairman of the Board, and attended by a majority of members.
The proceedings of the meeting included discussion and approval of the program for the commemoration of the 14th anniversary of the passing of Yasser Arafat. The agenda also included reports on the Yasser Arafat Museum and other programs, including the Summer Camps, the National Knowledge Competition, and others.
The Yasser Arafat Achievement Award Committee’s recommendations for the 2018 honorees were approved. The Board also reviewed the administrative and financial status of the Foundation and discussed future plans, including the partnership with Nelson Mandela Foundation in South Africa.
