In cooperation with Ein Arik Club and Women Church Commission of Ein Arik, Yasser Arafat Foundation (YAF) organized a public event for children to celebrate the Easter Holiday on the 23rd of March 2016.
In the opening ceremony of the event, the Program Director of YAF, Tami Rafidi and the Secretary-General of Ein Arik Club, Basil Shahin welcomed all the participating children. This was followed by a series of entertaining activities which included dancing, face-painting, playing games with the clowns and an egg-hunt competition. When children finished looking for these hidden colored eggs, 10 gifts were given to the first 10 children who collected the largest amount of eggs. At the end of the event, simple gifts were distributed to all participating children.
Yasser Arafat Foundation seeks to reach different sectors of the Palestinian society and organize different kinds of projects and events. This event mainly focused on fostering religious tolerance, mutual respect and unity among Palestinian children.
