A delegation from the Yasser Arafat Foundation, headed by Dr. Ahmad Soboh, Chairman of the Board of Directors, visited the municipalities of Al-Bireh and Beitunia on Thursday, June 11, 2026.

During the visit, Dr. Soboh and the accompanying delegation met with Beitunia Mayor Rabhi Dawla and Municipal Council Member Nevin Abu Eid at the municipality’s headquarters. The delegation also held a meeting at Al-Bireh Municipality with Mayor Eng. Munif Treish.

The discussions focused on prospects for cooperation and coordination in a number of areas and programs of mutual interest, with the aim of strengthening community engagement and enhancing services provided to citizens.

The Yasser Arafat Foundation delegation included Dr. Odeh Masharqa, Director General; Ali Fares, Financial Director; and Fares Saqar, Director of Media and Public Relations.

During the meetings, the delegation extended its congratulations to Al-Bireh Mayor Eng. Munif Treish, Beitunia Mayor Rabhi Dawla, and the members of both newly elected municipal councils on their success in the recent local elections.

It is worth noting that the mayors of Al-Bireh, Beitunia, and Ramallah serve as members of the Yasser Arafat Museum Committee by virtue of their official positions.
