The Yasser Arafat Foundation has announced the launch of the Yasser Arafat Award for Research and Studies for 2026, marking its second consecutive year. The award is open to Palestinian students enrolled in universities both within Palestine and abroad, across all academic levels: bachelor’s, master’s, and doctoral programs. The research period runs from March 1, 2026, to June 15, 2026.

The continuation of this award reflects the Foundation’s commitment to empowering Palestinian youth intellectually and academically, while promoting scientific research that engages with the Palestinian reality and contributes to advancing our just national cause.

The award aims to support and enable Palestinian student researchers—wherever they may be—to produce original and distinguished work grounded in rigorous academic methodologies, including systematic research, data collection, and analysis. It also seeks to enhance awareness among the younger generation of Palestine’s national memory through accurate and well-founded knowledge.
