As the 21st anniversary of the martyrdom of President Yasser Arafat approaches, our homeland continues to endure a campaign of genocide and escalating aggression. The Israeli occupation persists in its assault on Gaza through killing, destruction, and annihilation; expands settlements and violence across the West Bank; and maintains its siege and desecration of Jerusalem and Al-Aqsa Mosque, while subjecting our heroic prisoners to daily abuse and seeking to entrench political and geographic division among our people.
Yet the Palestinian people remain steadfast, rooted in their land and history, unwavering in their struggle, and united in their pursuit of freedom and independence. Our rights are inalienable and non-negotiable.
We reject displacement and continue our national struggle to end the occupation and realize our independent Palestinian state, a right recognized by the international community as just, legal, and moral.
Given the ongoing aggression and blockade, the Yasser Arafat Foundation calls on our people to commemorate this solemn anniversary each within their own communities. Those able to reach the mausoleum of the founding leader are invited to gather there on Tuesday, November 11, starting at 10:00 a.m., to lay wreaths, recite prayers, and renew our pledge to uphold Abu Ammar’s legacy — the path of national steadfastness, unity, and loyalty to the principles of the Palestinian revolution.
We reaffirm our call to strengthen internal unity and rally around the Palestine Liberation Organization, the sole legitimate representative of our people.
Glory to the martyrs.
Freedom for the prisoners.
And here we remain — steadfast.
