On Monday, August 11, 2025, Dr. Owda Masharqa, Director General of the Yasser Arafat Foundation, met with Dr. Basri Saleh, Deputy Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research, at his office in Ramallah. The meeting was also attended by Ayman Hudali, Head of the Student Affairs Unit at the Ministry of Education, and Fares Saqr, Director of Media and Public Relations at the Foundation.

The two sides discussed ways to enhance joint cooperation between the Foundation and the Ministry of Education and Higher Education, emphasizing the importance of ongoing collaboration on various issues that serve the Palestinian community, especially students. Both parties highlighted the significance of their partnership and expressed pride in the continuous collaboration.

It is worth noting that the Yasser Arafat Foundation and the Ministry of Education and Higher Education have been working together on the National Knowledge Competition Program for the eighth consecutive year.
