On April 16, 2025, a delegation from the Yasser Arafat Foundation, led by Dr. Ahmed Soboh, met with Dr. Ibrahim al-Shayyer, President of Al-Quds Open University, in Ramallah to discuss potential cooperation.

Dr. Soboh outlined the foundation’s mission to preserve the legacy of Yasser Arafat and Palestinian history, with the Yasser Arafat Museum being a central project. The delegation presented the university president with several of the foundation’s publications, including documentaries and books in both Arabic and English.

Dr. al-Shayyer praised the foundation's efforts and expressed the university’s willingness to collaborate on initiatives that benefit students. Both parties emphasized the importance of preserving Palestinian identity and fostering national culture among students through joint endeavors.
