The Bethlehem Boys' Secondary School and Ya'bad Boys' Secondary School advanced to the semi-finals of the eighth season of the National Knowledge Competition. Bethlehem placed first in the first round, while Ya'bad won first in the second round. Other winners included Tubas Girls' Secondary School (second) and Sheikh Saad Girls' Secondary School (third) in the first round, and Al-Arroub Girls' Secondary School (second) and Fatima Zahra Secondary School (third) in the second round.

The event, held at the Yasser Arafat Museum in Ramallah, was attended by key officials, including Dr. Nafeh Assaf (Ministry of Education) and Dr. Owda Masharqa (Yasser Arafat Foundation). Both emphasized the competition's importance in fostering a culturally and nationally aware generation. Dr. Assaf also highlighted the legacy of Yasser Arafat.

Due to the ongoing genocide in Gaza, schools from the Gaza Strip were unable to participate this year. Non-qualifying teams were encouraged through recognition.

The competition, organized by the Yasser Arafat Foundation and Ministry of Education, aims to raise awareness of Palestinian history and strengthen national identity among students. It is broadcast on Palestine TV and available on the Yasser Arafat Foundation’s website:
