Born on October 9, 1964, in the village of Kafr al-Dik, part of the Salfit Governorate.
Completed primary, middle, and secondary education in Salfit Governorate schools.
Obtained a diploma in journalism and another diploma in translation. Earned a bachelor's degree in linguistics and a master's degree in democracy and human rights from Birzeit University.

He worked in several institutions, including the Ministry of Civil Affairs, the Ministry of Prisoners' Affairs, the Palestinian Central Bureau of Statistics, and the Arab Studies Association/Beit Al-Sharq in Jerusalem.
He is experienced in various fields including social policies, social protection, women's and gender issues, domestic violence and poverty, strategic planning, and public administration.
