A delegation from the Yasser Arafat Foundation and the Ministry of Education and Higher Education honored today, Wednesday, May 22, 2024, the students who participated in the 2023/2024 National Knowledge Competition from the Deir al-Ghosoun Girls' Secondary School at the headquarters of the Directorate of Education in Tulkarm.
The honor comes due to Deir al-Ghosoun School's inability to participate in the semi-final qualifications of the National Knowledge Competition due to the occupation's incursion into the town of Deir al-Ghosoun and its closure of roads, despite it achieving first place at the level of the Tulkarm Directorate.
The ceremony was attended by the Director-General of Education in Tulkarm, Mazen Jarrar, the Director-General of Activities in the Ministry, Hamed Abu Mkhaw, the Head of the Cultural Activities Department in the Ministry, Nadine Touqan, and the coordinator of the competition at the Yasser Arafat Foundation, Majdi Abu Amoud, and Fares Saqr, the media and public relations officer at the Yasser Arafat Foundation.
