The Yasser Arafat Foundation finished the nomination period for the Yasser Arafat Achievement Award 2023 on Monday, July 31, 2023.

According to the award procedure, the Yasser Arafat Achievement Award Committee will begin its work shortly to analyze the nominations submitted for the current year 2023.

The Foundation opened the door for nomination for the award during a press conference it held at its headquarters in Ramallah on 3/5/2023.

In a unique cultural event remembering the martyrdom of the founding president, Yasser Arafat, the Foundation bestows the prize on an individual, institution, or work team in recognition of its achievements in the domains of national, cultural, social, economic, or practical/academic activity.

It is worth noting that the award has been given annually since the Foundation's inception in 2007, and the prize includes the patent for the award, a symbolic figure, and $25,000.
