On Monday, July 24, 2023, the Yasser Arafat Foundation finished its two-week summer camps, which it had planned with partner institutions in various sites around the northern and southern governorates.
This year, 700 children between the ages (8-14) attended Yasser Arafat's camps in 11 different governorates around the country.

The camps seek to restore the late President Yasser Arafat's history and legacy, build national culture, encourage optimism and cooperation in the local community, and teach national ideals to the participating children.

This year's summer camps were distinguished by a wide range of extracurricular activities offered to children by trainers, as well as the use of modern methods and tools to deliver information to children, such as drama, national and heritage singing, creative writing, storytelling, visits to the Yasser Arafat Museum, educational games, and the use of technological screens to display films, among other things.

This year's partners are Salfit Development Association in Salfit Governorate, Ein Arik Village Council in Ramallah Governorate, Lajee Center in Aida Camp in Bethlehem Governorate, Habla Charity Association in Qalqilya Governorate, and Hebron Society Development and Empowerment Charity (HSDEC) in Jericho. The camps will be run by Al- Biet Alssamed Foundation and the Right to Live Society in Gaza in the southern governorates.

The Foundation also supported 4 other institutions that established summer camps in Yasser Arafat's name: the Palestinian Child Club in Ramallah governorate's town of Kofur Ni'ma, Yafa Cultural Center in Nablus governorate's Balata camp, the Child Creativity Association in the Salfit governorate's Kafr Al-Deek, and The Palestinian Association For Child Arts &Culture in Hebron governorate.
