Yasser Arafat Foundation holds a meeting for representatives of partner institutions, in preparation for the Yasser Arafat Summer Camp

On the 8th of June 2022, The Yasser Arafat Foundation organized a meeting at its headquarters in Ramallah with representatives of partner institutions to discuss and make the final arrangements for launching Yasser Arafat's Annual Summer Camp for two weeks as of 16 July 2022.


During this meeting, Dr. Ahmed Soboh, Director General of the Yasser Arafat Foundation stressed the importance of organizing projects and programs that serve the Palestinian society as a whole. As such, Yasser Arafat’s Summer Camp plays a key role in advancing the national goals which the foundation embraces by promoting the culture of Palestinian nationalism and the historical legacy of Yasser Arafat.


Dr. Soboh expressed his appreciation for the continuous cooperation between the partner institutions who work jointly with the foundation towards strengthening the national identity and spreading awareness in the ranks of Palestinian youth and children. He placed high importance on such initiatives for they will instill and reinforce our struggle towards freedom and independence and for their far-reaching impact on rooting the Palestinian narrative in the minds of those who were born after Yasser Arafat's martyrdom.


In this meeting, the Foundation was represented by its Program Coordinator (Mohar Abu Ein) and Summer Camps Coordinator (Nayef Shtayyeh), in addition to representatives of its partner institutions for this year such as; the Cultural Center for Child Development) Tulkarm (, Talent Center for Children (Beitunia), Yafa Cultural Center (Balata Refugees Camp), Not to Forget Association (Jenin camp), and Lajee center ( Bethlehem).
