Palestinian President Mahmoud Abbas laid a wreath of flowers at the mausoleum of Yasser Arafat, on Sunday, the 11th of November 2019, after addressing thousands of Palestinians who gathered at the Yasser Arafat Memorial. 

Members of the Executive Committee of the PLO, Central Committee of Fatah, Secretaries-General of PLO factions, local organizations, and foreign diplomats also participated in the ceremony and laid wreaths at the Mausoleum.

Chairman of the Board of Directors of Yasser Arafat Foundation Dr. Nasser Alkidwa, Director General Dr. Ahmad Soboh, board members and staff also participated and laid a wreath in the name of the Foundation. 

Yasser Arafat Foundation organizes annual events and activities to commemorate the anniversary of the passing of Yasser Arafat. The wreath-laying ceremony followed the 2019 commemorative program at Ramallah Cultural Palace on Saturday, the 10th of November.
