The Board of Directors of Yasser Arafat Foundation held its 43rd meeting in Amman, Jordan on the 26th of September 2019. The meeting was convened by Board Chair Dr. Nasser Alkidwa and attended by a majority of members.
The proceedings included discussion and approval of the program for the commemoration of the 15th anniversary of the passing of Yasser Arafat, as well as the Yasser Arafat Achievement Award Committee’s recommendations for the 2019 honorees.
The board also discussed several topics regarding the Foundation’s programs in the upcoming period, among them enhancing visitor services at Yasser Arafat Museum through including additional languages on exhibit captions and completing the uploading of the virtual reality tour on the Museum’s website.
The agenda also included reports on the financial status of the Foundation, in light of the current critical situation, and reports on the Summer Camp, National Knowledge Competition, and other programs.
