In cooperation with the Ministry of Education and Higher Education, Yasser Arafat Foundation organized a workshop to launch a national cultural and national competition for students in various governorates around Palestine. The competition aims to enhance students’ knowledge about the Palestinian national identity and contemporary history.
Dr. Ahmad Soboh, Director General of YAF, and Dr. Basri Saleh, Deputy Minister of Education, opened the workshop with remarks emphasizing the importance of the competition.
One hundred seventy (170) schools will participate in the competition, which will include visits to Yasser Arafat Museum to help students gain greater knowledge of the history and journey of the Palestinian people.
