Signing of a Memorandum of Cooperation and Partnership between the Yasser Arafat Foundation and the Tunisian Academy of Sciences, Letters, and Arts

On Monday, January 6, 2025, the Yasser Arafat Foundation, represented by its Chairman Dr. Ahmad Soboh, and the Tunisian Academy of Sciences, Letters, and Arts (Beit al-Hikma), represented by its President Dr. Mahmoud Ben Ramadan, signed a cooperation and partnership agreement at the academy's headquarters in Tunisia.


Dr. Soboh expressed pride in the Palestinian-Tunisian partnership, recalling that the first Palestinian government was formed in Tunisia in 1994.


Dr. Ben Ramadan emphasized the importance of utilizing all available resources to support the Palestinian people, thanking the Yasser Arafat Foundation for its role.


In turn, Palestinian Ambassador to Tunisia, Hael Al-Fahoum, stated that Tunisia is the sister soul of Palestine. He considered the signing of this memorandum between Palestinian and Tunisian institutions an essential tool for conveying the truth and mobilizing support for the Palestinian people in their pursuit of freedom and independence.


The signing was followed by an academic seminar titled "Palestine in the Tumultuous Context of International Equations."
