Completed his secondary education in Nablus and studied at the University of Texas, USA, where he earned a Bachelor's degree in Geology and a Master's degree in International Affairs and Relations.
Member of the Board of Trustees and the Board of Directors of the Yasser Arafat Foundation.
Member of the Board of Directors of the Arab Bank.
Member of the Board of Directors of the Palestine Telecommunications Group.
Chairman of the Board of Directors of Padico Holding Group.
Former Chairman of the Board of Trustees of Al-Quds University and current member of its Board of Trustees.
Member of the Board of Trustees of the American University of Beirut.
Served as President of "Phillips Petroleum" in Algeria in 1962 and later as President of Phillips Petroleum's operations in 16 countries across the Middle East and North Africa.
Appointed Minister of Public Works in Jordan in 1970.
Founder and Honorary President of the Cooperation Foundation.
