Abdul-Fattah Hmoud (1933- 1968)

Born in the village of Al-Tineh, in the Ramle district, in 1933.
He emigrated with his family to Gaza in the Nakba of 1948 and completed his secondary education there. 
He traveled to Egypt to complete his university education at Cairo University.
He emerged during his university studies as a renewal leader within the Islamic movement, to be one of the leaders of the revolutionary national movement calling for highlighting the independent Palestinian personality.
He became vice-president of the Palestinian Students Association for five consecutive years, which was headed by Yasser Arafat during that period.
He moved to work in the Ministry of Petroleum in Saudi Arabia and then moved to the Qater to work in oil companies.
He accompanied the birth of the "Fatah" movement from the first steps of its founding, participated in its thought, planning, and organization, and was involved in all its details.
He moved to Jordan, dedicating himself to the struggle and the organization.
He was martyred on 28/2/1968.
