-    Worked as Exec. Secretary at the Educational Medical Service Dept. in Kuwait from 1960-63
-    Founded the Pioneer Nursery in Kuwait in 1963 and worked there until 1989
-    Member of Fateh since 1965; founded Dar Al-Hanan Private School in Kuwait in 1965 and worked there until 1990
-    Member of the Palestinian Higher Council for Culture, Science and Education since 1976
-    Member of the Fateh Revolutionary Council since 1980
